Subscription audit

Once a month, a review of recurring charges that spots price rises, overlaps and trials about to turn into bills.

Paste this into your agent

Once a month, go through my receipts and statements and list every recurring charge with its price and billing cycle. Point out any price that has risen since the last payment, any services that overlap and any free trial due to become a paid plan within 30 days. For each item I might drop, explain in a line or two how cancellation works. Do not cancel, downgrade or change any plan, because I will make those calls myself.

What the agent does

  1. Collect receipts, renewal notices and statements

  2. List recurring charges with price and cycle

  3. Flag price rises, overlaps and trials about to convert

  4. Explain how cancellation works for the likely cuts

Rules to add

  • No cancellations, downgrades or plan changes by the agent
  • No new sign-ups, even for a cheaper alternative
  • Card and account numbers stay out of the report

What you end up with: A monthly list of charges with the rises, overlaps and trial traps marked.
