# Privacy policy

There are no accounts on AgentDots and no advertising trackers.

Visits are measured with Google Analytics, which tells us which pages readers find useful. Google keeps first-party cookies in your browser and is sent your IP address plus details about your device, handling them under Google's own privacy terms. If a blocker stops Analytics, every page and tool still works.

The rule builder, cost estimator and safety checklist all run on your device. Checklist ticks sit in your browser's local storage; we never receive them.

A site audit sends the address you type to our server, which then requests public files from that website. Reports stay in memory for ten minutes. Your IP address serves only to cap how many audits one network may run, and it is not saved alongside any report.

Standard web-server logs are kept for no more than 14 days, to spot abuse and fix faults.
